In this session we will  provide an understanding of the exact definition of cloud and what makes cloud different from virtual environments. Also, why automation and cloud seem the same but are very different. This session will explore OpenStack from a usability perspective and cover AWS to OpenStack, a dashboard to project mapping. Geoff Korrub has served as a Principal Architect within the Advanced Technologies Solution group at Juniper Networks. He currently supports Juniper's largest customers from within the Center of Excellence.

Throughout his tenure Mr. Korrub has specialized in providing architectural guidance to organizations within the financial services and e-commerce verticals. As well as providing direct feedback into product development teams to align product portfolio with market demand.

Within the financial services sector Mr. Korrub has worked with a range of customer types including but not limited to the exchanges, distribution and aggregation networks that provide market feeds, algorithmic traders and large banking institutions. Mr. Korrub has engaged throughout the financial services on use cases that are in production as well as next generation technologies for for banking institutions such as UBS, BNY Mellon and Goldman Sachs, as well as exchanges such as CME and NYSE in the US and all major exchanges througout Hong Kong and China.

Outside of the financial services sector Mr. Korrub has provided architectural level support for data center, wide area and Software Defined infrastructure technologies for some of the world's largest energy producers as well as E-commerce and social media based organizations spanning 100s of millions of active users.

With over 2 decades of industry experience, Mr. Korrub has achieved the highest levels of industry certifications across all major industry vendor organizations. These certifications include multiple Juniper JNCIE certifications as well as multiple Cisco CCIE certifications along with others from VMWare and Microsoft to name a few.
